This unique military museum is of special interest for jaded geezers who think they’ve seen everything. In the palatial hills of Portola Valley the late Jacques Litchfield, an H-P engineer, amassed a collection of over 200 tanks. They’re housed in a garage the size of a football field. Even if you have minimal interest in military history this is a fascinating look at a true obsession. Tours are not regularly scheduled but can be arranged. They last roughly two hours with an admission fee of $20.
