Keep your eyes on the sky and in tree branches on Sunday December 26. Join in the annual Audubon Bird Count in Marin County which is part of the longest running bird survey in the world. The event spans from Terra Linda to the Bolinas Lagoon to the Golden Gate. You can participate from your home if you have a bird feeder. And you won’t be counting alone. Last year over 50,000 people participated. There’s a celebratory dinner afterwards at the Strawberry Rec Center, just $12 per person. The weather is never a factor. The count goes on rain or shine.
