Bay Area seniors know that this wet, wearying winter means a glorious spring flower show. It’s hard to find a wildflower pageant more dazzling than the one at Bouverie Preserve, just north of Sonoma on Highway 12. Its 535 acres are bedecked with over 350 flowering plants. Bouverie is run by the estimable Audobon Canyon Ranch and is accessible only on authorized, guided nature walks. There are two next month on April 9 & 12. Reservations required.
