Bay Area seniors who miss having their minds blown, need only stop by the Exploratorium this month. In its Tinkering Studio your jaw will drop in front of Scott Weaver’s toothpick rendition of SF’s major landmarks. It took 35 years (starting in 4th grade) and 100,000 toothpicks for this Rohnert Park craftsman to recreate The Bridge, Chinatown, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, etc piled on top of each other with ping pong balls tumbling through this madly obsessive structure that would have Rube Goiberg cheering. Check it out here. Through May 31 only.
