Senior cinemaniacs in the Bay Area may have only fond, fading memories of drive-movies but that doesn’t mean you can’t go out this summer and see a film under the stars (or fog). There are outdoor screenings of fairly recent hits, usually free, all around the Bay. Film Night has a full schedule at parks in Marin and in SF at Union and Washington Squares. Same goes for Redwood City. In Oakland Julie and Julia is playing July 7 in Jack London. And all summer long there’s a series in Temescal at 49th and Telegraph (with free popcorn!).
