Senior Bay Area thrill seekers are  advised to head to the Berkeley Marina this weekend to watch the 2011 National Windsurfing Championships. The Bay in summer is prime for this sort of exhilaration– winds hitting 25 knots, fast racing currents, choppy whitecaps, contestants flying wilder than anything in the Cirque de Soleil. The world speed record is 48 knots. Free.
