Bay seniors looking for exercise that won’t damage their knees, feet or backs might want to consider taking up the zen sport of fly fishing. Fortunately the formidable East Bay Regional Parks District is offering an introductory class at Lake Anza on Sunday October 12 from 7am (!) to 1pm. Fly casting lessons are alternated with 2 ½ hours in the classroom learning knots, fly selection, reading the water. Registration required. $60 for East Bay residents, $66 for non-residents.
