Bay seniors can celebrate the holidays in rousing British style just a few hours eastwards. Since 1927 the majestic Ahwahnee in Yosemite has hosted the Bracebridge Dinner, a 4-hour pageant of Anglomania, a re-creation of a 17th manor feast. This year’s menu is historically accurate including pheasant and chestnut pithivier, boar’s head tenderloin, plum pudding and wassail. 100 richly costumed singers ,jugglers and court characters keep you heartily entertained. Ye olde dinner  is  $299, with lodging it’s a pricey $996.
