Bay seniors who are becoming fed up with kale’s current ubiquity on local menus might reverse themselves after trying this terrific recipe for the overly popular roughage. It’s a vegetarian burrito with the tortilla wrap replaced by a large leaf of kale courtesy of my favorite interior designer.

Grind 2 cups of walnuts

Combine with 1 tsp ground cumin

1 ½ tsp chili powder

1 ½ tsp ground coriander

Pinch of cayenne

2 tbsp tamari

Spoon  ¼ cup  mixture on kale leaf and fold over
