Bay seniors who’ve run into stumbling blocks releasing their creative juices might find hope in PaintNite, where painting classes are combined with alcoholic intake. Events take place in bars and subjects such as birds, ice cream cones and Yosemite landscapes are already chosen for you. On their calendar it looks like classes are held around SF almost every night and run about $45. Paints, canvas, brush and smocks are included though not drinks. The idea is so popular that a similar organization exists in the city called Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School. It worked for Van Gogh, why not you?
