Bay seniors wondering how many more art events Oakland can manage to squeeze in, might want to check out the Art Attack along the Estuary between Alameda and Fruitvale. It occurs at roughly 21 venues every second Friday around the Park Street Bridge in the Jingletown neighborhood from 6 to 9 pm. Hopefully this is real art and not amateur landscapes or art school horrors. The walls of both Oakland and SF are being increasingly covered by inventive murals, not just taggers or Diego Rivera wannabes. The Geezer is thinking of putting together a guide this spring. Any suggestions welcome.
