Bay seniors like me who slash away at whatever we are barbequing to see if it’s “done”, could profit from a class at the Bay Area BBQ and Grilling School, located in the middle of the Bay on Treasure Island. Weekly sessions include a 4-hour steak class ($60), a 3.5 hour seafood class ($65) and a 6 hour smoking and grilling class that involves pulled pork, pork tenderloin, brisket, a chicken, buffalo wings and stuffed peppers ($170). Private sessions available. BTW the difference between bbq and grilling is that bbq is low heat and slow, grilling is high heat and fast. Now you know.
