Bay seniors feeling indolent but hungry in the summer heat will enjoy this melon soup which takes about 5 minutes. Served cold in glasses to avoid the labor of a soup spoon. Serves six.
In a Cuisanart combine:
- Whole melon and cantaloupe without the rinds
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 chopped jalapeno
- 3 tsp ginger
- 3 limes juiced
- 2 tsp salt
