Bay seniors are unlikely to imagine a friendship between Salvador Dali, the twisted Surrealist, and Walt Disney our cheery national cartoonist. But there was a strong creative and personal bond the two and you can see the evidence for it now thru December 3 at the “Architects of the Imagination” interactive media exhibit at the Disney Family Museum in the Presidio. Dali came to Hollywood in 1937 and their collaboration continued over the next decades. Disney used Dali’s work to inspire his artists working on “Fantasia”, even “Cinderella”. Seniors $15.
