upside-down-treeFor the most spectacularly goofy Christmas tree this year, the prize goes to the new upside down 50-foot crystal one hanging from the old Emporium dome in Westfield Center. It’s closest competitor in the over-the-top décor department is the giant Gingerbread House at the Fairmont Hotel, 22 feet high, 23 feet wide, built of thousands of home-baked gingerbread bricks and more than a ton of icing. Plus a miniature train running through the lobby. Down the hill you might want to check out the two sugar castles gracing the first floor of the Westin St. Francis.
