If you want dazzling and incontrovertible evidence that SF is inching towards major league art world status, stop by the relocated Berggruen Gallery behind SFMOMA.On three light-washed floors their inaugural exhibit “The Human Form” is a mini-museum spotlighting the kinds of artists rarely on view here – Lucien Freud, Hopper, Alex Katz, Cecily Brown, Kara Walker – as well as the usual suspects – Picasso, Giacometti, Richter, Chuck Close – 39 stars in all. I nearly was hit with the Stendhal Syndrome when I turned a corner and faced an extraordinary Jenny Saville nude. Through March 4. Free.
