Roll back the clock 130 years this Saturday for the Bay Area’s vintage baseball season’s opening day. Local teams will be playing in Golden Gate Park, Berkeley, Oakland and San Jose in historically accurate uniforms and gear (small gloves, large wooden bats) with any recent advances (like knuckleballs) not allowed. Way back in the 19th century runs were called “aces”, pitchers were “hurlers” and catchers “behinds”. Check website for times. Free.
