Learn to work with a wild yeast starter culture in class creating your own sesame, onion and poppy seed bagels. Bring a covered container to carry your bagels home where you can boil and bake them in under 30 minutes. 2 hour class. $80. As far as bakery-made bagels in the Bay Area the competition is heating up. For my money the best (least doughy) is at Beauty Bagels in Oakland.
