It’s official. The City of San Francisco has blessed May 6 (my birthday thank you) as the certified “How Weird Day” and our tech and arts subcultures are jumping in big time. It starts at noon and runs to 8 around Howard and 2nd. The opening parade led by Emperor Norton (our patron saint of weirdness) begins at 2:22 but with 10 musical stages there will be no shortage of dancing, entertainment and civic bizarreness. Expect the usual over indulgence in arts and crafts, food and marginally sane behavior. This is a project to the World Peace Through Technology Organization. $20 at the door. $15 in advance. Dress in something you saved from the 70’s.
