If you need an antidote to the despair that hit you when Trump in Helsinki admitted for a day that he is a KGB agent, then I suggest you check out the Labor Fest, now through next Wednesday in San Francisco which commemorates the 84th Anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” when two striking workers were gunned down and killed in the City. It’s mostly musical event, a singing history of the hard fought victories of the labor movement. Start on Friday by cheering on the Rocking’ Solidarity Labor Chorus at the Unitarian Universalist Church for free. Lots of non-musical activities later including speeches from Howard Zinn and Cornel West.
