At least in the East Bay civic leaders have been inspired to turn street dull looking utility boxes into wildly colored art pieces, and now inspired folks have made these boxes the focus of bingo games for your grandkids. The next session is Sunday September 23 in Emeryville and all children from 5 to 8 (with parents or grandparents ) are cordially welcome to join in the game of matching their bingo cards with the art they pass on a 1.5 mile stroll through the town’s streets, courtyards and lobbies, an intriguing opportunity to see environments as art works. Everybody wins. Free, of course. Sponsored by the Berkeley Path Wanderers Association.
