Not much has been saved from California’s early history but you can check a few remnants at the Peralta Hacienda Historical Park in Oakland, which this Saturday is holding a 3 Kings Day Party. The site is all that remains of the Rancho San Antonio, once a 45,000 acre land grant (now reduced to 6 acres) awarded in 1820.┬áStories of undocumented day laborers with be retold at this event, with servings of traditional cake, Mexican hot chocolate as well as arts and crafts tours.Free.
